Subject #5 - Design Your Version of Any Character
Subject #5. We've all had that moment where we thought, "What were they thinking with that design?" Well, now's your chance to show us how it's done. Scan in that awful outfit, that lame super suit, that ridiculous design, and create the ultimate version of your favorite superhero. Show us the best mech suit or the most dynamic wizard's cloak, the coolest armor, the newest weapons.
Give it shot. Upload, post, respond! You've two weeks. Ready, set, go!

Atomic Thunderbolt, Public Domain Character
BEHOLD!, the Atomic Thunderbolt. Regor Publishing offering that appeared in one issue. Willy Burns suffered from PTSD, and, at the end of his rope, volunteered for a secret experiment that ended up killing the scientist and turning Willy into the Atomic Thunderbolt.
This is my mild redesign. I wanted to keep the Golden Age vibe while cleaning up the general design. Keep an eye out for more. I think I'll try a few more redesigns for this assignment.

Subject #4 - Public Domain Character
Pretty good respond last subject. Let's see what you've got this time.
Subject #4. Pull out your old comics, hit the web, and begin researching.
The subject for the next two weeks is any public domain character. Stay away from those big time heroes plastered all over TV and movies. We're looking for characters lost to time. Hero, villain, or sidekick; literature, comics, film, or radio; as many as you can find - no reason to draw just one; any medium; and, you can leave the design true or redesign from scratch. It might be cool to include the original design in this case.
For your consideration, here is a site chock full of suggestions.
